All root canal therapies are performed on any tooth, provided treatment is needed, including a third molar or wisdom tooth. It may be necessary to use this tooth as a support for a fixed bridge, or removable partial denture. Depending on the tooth in question, the fee varies. Anterior teeth are easier, thus the least expensive. Bicuspids are the next level of difficulty, and in the middle of the range of fees. Molars are the most difficult, and thus the most expensive of the fee range. Third molars (wisdom teeth) are the most difficult and the most expensive of initial treatment fees.
