Retreatments
Some
teeth that have been previously treated with endodontic therapy, have a
recurrent infection due to leakage, or poor treatment to begin with, or the
person may never have had the tooth restored, and too much time has
transpired before restoring the tooth. All of these reasons and more,
are contributing factors for retreatment. This service is also
provided.
The retreatment procedure is time consuming and difficult. In many cases
it may require a second visit to complete the procedure. Because of this,
retreatments are usually $275 to $350 in addition to the normal treatment
fee.
